Volunteering

We are always looking for more help and support to enable us to run our activities. It could be a one off or regular commitment. It’s such a rewarding experience supporting our wonderful children and young adults. Your help as a volunteer means we can continue to thrive. So, if you're aged 16 or over and are interested in volunteering with us, we'd love to hear from you!

You don't need experience of working with children and young people with disabilities. We provide training to help you:

  • communicate with young people
  • help make young people more independent
  • know how to safeguard children
  • administer first aid

You'll have the opportunity to make friends with our members and to do all the activities we offer. Including; going away on residential trips, regular youth clubs or after school sessions. You can find out more about activities we run.

If you're interested in being a volunteer, please contact us for an application form. You'll need to provide two references and complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

If you have any questions about what's involved, or want to know more then please contact us.
